the high cost models have been running for years, consulted with hedge funds running on monitored AI for investing (which is what I was being consulted for) 
 
not that I know anything about investing or data science, my schtick was running and monitoring models. at the time LLM was used mainly for sentiment analysis and a custom model was used for decision making (not an llm)
